The game itself

The open beta trailer, then six screens from a real save. Nothing here is a mock-up, and nothing is retouched: one command takes all six straight out of the running game. Open any picture to see it full size.

The open beta trailerAll of it is captured from the running game: the roster, the HQ, a play drawn in the editor, the league table, and one live round from my own save.
A club home screen: the next fixture over a photograph of an arena tunnel, then cards for the league table, the money, the news and the mail, and the five starting players with their portraits.
HQ, the home screenEvery club has one. It is the first screen of a session: the next fixture, where you sit in the table, what the week cost, and who is fit to play.
The tactics editor: five coloured role chips above a map, each player with a route drawn across it and a grenade marked, and a panel on the right spelling out one player’s job in words.
Drawing a play in the tactics editorYou draw the play yourself. Where each of the five starts, the route they walk, what they watch and where the grenade lands. The match engine then runs exactly that.
An end-of-match scoreboard: two clubs, five players each, with kills, deaths, plus-minus, damage per round and headshot percentage.
The board at the end of a matchEvery round is really simulated, so the numbers underneath are earned rather than rolled. Click a name and the player’s own season opens.
The transfer market: three clubs bidding for players, each bid showing the fee, the agent’s cut and what the club would actually receive, above a list of every club by tier.
Offers on the transfer marketRival clubs bid for your players at the end of a season. Each offer shows the fee, the agent’s cut and what you would actually bank.
A newspaper screen: headlines grouped by matchday and tagged as results, transfers or scene stories, with the league table running down the side.
The paper that follows your clubThe scene writes about you. Results, transfers and the stories other clubs are living, all from the season your save actually played.
A club identity screen: the club’s name and founding name, a crest preview, and rows of shield shapes and emblems to choose from, some of them still locked.
Naming your club and building its crestYour club’s name and its badge are yours. Pick a shield, an emblem and a palette, and earn the locked ones by winning things.

Matches, moving

A screenshot cannot show a round playing out. Matches run tick by tick on the map, and the ones worth watching end up on the channel. Watch on the channel
