Terms

Last updated 6 September 2026

AIMperium is a free game in early access, made by one person. These are the rules for using it. They are meant to be read rather than clicked past, so they are short, in plain words, and honest about what I can and cannot promise.

Who I am, and how to reach me

AIMperium is operated from Switzerland by its developer, as a private project. If anything on this page needs explaining, or you want to raise something with me, write to hello@aimperium.pro. That address reaches the person who runs the site directly.

What AIMperium is

AIMperium is a single-player game you play in a browser. It is free, and it is in early access, which means it is unfinished on purpose. Screens change, rules change, and features arrive and sometimes leave again.

I may also stop running the game one day. If that happens, I will say so in the game before it does.

Your account

You need an account so your club survives between visits. By creating one you accept these terms.

You must be 16 or older to hold an account. Give a mail address you can actually read, because the game uses it to let you back in. Keep your password to yourself and do not let another person use your account.

What you may not do

Do not cheat. That means no changing the game's data or code to gain an advantage, no tools that play the game for you, and no attempt to reach another person's account or save.

Do not attack the service. That means no attempt to break it, to overload it, or to get past the sign-in.

Do not type anything illegal, hateful or abusive into the game. That includes club and player names, your crest, and the messages you send me.

The things you make and send

You will name a club, name players, build a crest, and perhaps send me feedback. What you make stays yours to have made. By putting it in the game you let me store it, show it back to you, and keep it in your save.

Feedback works differently in one way. If you send me an idea, I may build it into the game, and there is no payment for it.

I may rename or remove anything that breaks the rules above.

Closing an account

If an account breaks these rules, I may close it. If that happens to you and you think I got it wrong, write to hello@aimperium.pro and I will look at it again.

Your save

Your club lives on a server and I back it up. Even so, this is a free game in early access, and I cannot promise your save will always be there. A save can be lost to a bug, to a failed update, or to a mistake of mine.

If you delete your account, the save goes with it, and it cannot be brought back afterwards.

What belongs to me

The game, its code, its art, its text, its maps and the name AIMperium belong to me. You are welcome to play it, record it and show it to other people. You may not copy it, sell it, or run a version of it yourself.

What I do not promise

The game is free and it comes as it is. I do not promise that it works without faults, that it is available at any given moment, or that a season you started will still make sense after an update.

As far as Swiss law allows, I am not liable for damage that follows from using the game, from a lost save, or from the game being unavailable. Liability for damage caused on purpose or by gross negligence stays untouched, because the law does not allow it to be signed away.

Changes to these terms

These terms will change as the game grows. The date at the top says when they last changed, and it is the only version number this page has. When a change really matters to you, it also arrives in the game's Inbox.

Law and courts

Swiss law applies. If a disagreement cannot be settled by mail, the courts of the canton of Zürich decide it.

If you live in the European Union and you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection your own country's law gives you, or your right to go to the courts there.

Privacy

What the game stores about you, why, and who else touches it is written on the privacy page.
