AIMperium is a single-player game. It needs an account so your club survives between visits, and that is very nearly the only reason it holds any data about you at all. There is no advertising, no analytics, no tracking and nothing is sold or shared with anyone.
Who is responsible
AIMperium is operated from Switzerland by its developer, as a private project. For any question about your data, or to exercise any of the rights below, write to hello@aimperium.pro. That address reaches the person who runs the site directly.
What is collected, and why
| What | Why | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Your email address and password | To create your account and let you sign back in. The password is stored only as a cryptographic hash, never in readable form. | Supabase, Ireland |
| Your first name and surname | Asked for at sign-up, changeable on the Account page. Used only to address you in mails and in-game messages. | Supabase, Ireland |
| Your game data | Your club, its name and crest, your squad, tactics, staff, finances, season history, your mail and your news. This is your save file: without it there is no game to come back to. I store the time of your last save. During the beta, I can view stored saves to help testers and fix bugs. | Supabase, Ireland |
| Feedback you send | When you send feedback, I store your message, report type, app version, screen name, browser type and time, linked to your account. I use it only to improve the game. It is deleted with your account. | Supabase, Ireland |
| Your name and mail address, if you join the open beta | The game is in open beta. If you fill in the form at the foot of the front page, I store the name and the mail address you gave, and the times I invited you and you joined. I use them for one thing only: to write to you about joining, and to send you your invite code. If the address is new to the list, a mail goes to it at once; an address already on the list gets none. If you delete your account, your entry leaves the list with it, so you can join again later. The whole list is deleted when the beta ends, and you can ask for your entry to be removed at any time. | Supabase, Ireland |
| Server access logs | Standard web-server records: IP address, browser, time and the page requested. Kept for security and to keep the site running. | Netlify, United States |
| Six things on your own device | A login session so you are not asked for your password on every page, a single display preference for the match viewer, the version number of the last update notes you read (so your Inbox can stop counting them as unread), which announcements you have read or dismissed in your Inbox, the zoom you picked on your account page (Auto or a fixed size), and whether you switched the website's monitor frame off. All six live in your browser only. | Your browser |
Nothing else is collected. In particular there is no analytics tool, no advertising, no profiling and no third-party fonts or scripts loaded from other companies' servers.
Who else touches it
Three companies process data on AIMperium's behalf, and only on its instructions:
Supabase provides the database and the sign-in system. Your account and all of your game data are stored in the European Union (Ireland).
Resend sends the mails the game has to send: the sign-in and password mails, and the mail you get when you join the open beta. It receives your mail address, and your name where the mail is addressed to you. It receives nothing else, and it never uses any of it for its own purposes. Resend is based in the United States and acts as a processor under its data processing agreement.
Netlify hosts the website itself. Netlify is based in the United States, and its servers record the standard access logs described above. It acts as a processor under its data processing agreement.
Your data is never sold, rented, or handed to advertisers. There are none.
How long it is kept
Your account and game data are kept for as long as you have an account. Server logs are short-lived and are held by the hosting provider only for the period its own operations require.
If you asked to join the beta but have no account yet, your name and mail address are kept only until the beta ends, and are then deleted. To have your entry removed sooner, write to hello@aimperium.pro.
You can delete your account yourself, in the game, under Account. Deletion removes your login, your email address, your name, all of your game data and your entry on the beta invite list. It takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. Deletion is immediate in the live system; copies inside security backups expire on their own as those backups rotate, and a small number of long-term archive snapshots are used for disaster recovery only and never to restore a deleted account.
Your rights
Under Swiss data protection law (revDSG), and under the GDPR if you are in the EU or EEA, you can ask for a copy of the data held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, ask for it in a portable form, or object to its processing.
For deletion, the fastest way is the delete button on the game's own Account page, described above. For everything else, write to hello@aimperium.pro and you will get an answer. None of these requests costs anything, and you do not need to give a reason for asking.
If you are not satisfied with how a request was handled, you can complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or, if you are in the EU or EEA, to your national data protection authority.
Cookies
AIMperium sets no advertising or tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner to click away. The game stores five things in your browser: the login session that keeps you signed in, one match-viewer display preference, the version number of the last update notes you read (so your Inbox can stop counting them as unread), which announcements you have read or dismissed in your Inbox, and the zoom you picked on your account page. None of them track you, none are used for advertising, and none leave your device. Clearing your browser storage removes them.
Children
AIMperium is not aimed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If what the game does with data changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. It is worth a glance if you have not read it in a while.
