Training between matches

Training focus

On the Club > Training tab each player focuses on ONE attribute.

Stamina can be the focus too, but it trains at half rate.

Focus is a steering bonus: it decides which attribute matures first.

It does not change how much total growth a career holds; that is player development.

"Auto pick for everyone" sets every focus to the attribute with the most room to grow for that role, in both modes, and re-picks a focus you set by hand too.

A player nothing can help keeps their focus, your player is skipped, and one line tells you how many changed.

Who picks the training focus

Who picks a training focus depends on your play mode.

In Casual the empty option reads "Let the game pick". A player left on it gets a focus on the next matchday, and a letter tells you who got what.

The game picks the attribute with the most room to grow for that role, the same rule the other clubs use.

A focus you picked yourself is never changed. A focus that reaches its cap counts as empty again, so it is picked afresh.

In Full the empty option reads "No focus" and stays empty until you fill it. More in Casual and Full.

Scrims

A practice match that costs you nothing in the league: 1 counted scrim per matchday, on the Scrims tab.

Pick any 5 players, and choose how hard the practice opponent is.

A scrim pays roughly half the experience of a league match.

It counts for form and for development, with a +0.15 playing-time top-up.

It drains fitness, but moves no money, no morale and no standings, which makes it perfect for the bench.

Boot camps

Once per season you can book a themed boot camp, on the Club > Boot Camp tab.

For 3 matchdays the theme's attributes develop with a +100% boost, at 15 extra fitness per camp matchday.

The team-building theme lifts squad morale by 8 instead.

A camp covers your WHOLE squad: bench and youth get the same boost and the same drain, so it is one of the few ways a player without minutes still develops at full speed.

The price scales with your tier, from a base of €8,000 per tier step.

Where it happens follows your tier too.

Where a boot camp happens

Every camp happens somewhere, and the venue follows your league tier.

Tiers 5 and 4: Internet cafe.

Tier 3: LAN center.

Tiers 2 and 1: Pro facility.

The venue is picked for you and changes nothing: same price, same boost, same fitness cost.

Climbing the pyramid is what upgrades the room.
